Public GitHub repository
Your code plus a README with the problem, what you tried, and how to run it. Work-in-progress is OK if the README is honest.
Amplify with AI · 7-Day Build Sprint
A free 7-day sprint to build your first AI-powered tool in public. No advanced background required — start from curiosity, ship something small and real, and join the Amplify builder community.
In 7 days, build one small AI-powered tool that helps one person with one problem. It does not need to be perfect — it needs to work, be public, and show what you learned.
Outcome: I tried building in public.
Finished the challenge? You may earn Builder Milestone recognition and priority consideration for the 8-day cohort. Want to learn first? You can join the cohort anytime — the challenge is optional but recommended.
Your first build sprint
This is not an exam and there is no winner podium. It is a supported week to go from idea to live link. Work solo so you own the learning. Teams come later, after the cohort.
Beginner-friendly. Imperfect projects welcome. Showing up and shipping something small counts.
Your code plus a README with the problem, what you tried, and how to run it. Work-in-progress is OK if the README is honest.
A live link on Railway, Vercel, or similar. It should load and do something useful — polish comes later.
A short Loom or YouTube walkthrough showing what you built and what you learned.
What worked, what broke, and what you would improve next. We care about your thinking, not which model you picked.
Need inspiration?
You do not need a startup idea. One useful feature for one person is enough.
Pick a problem area
Choose the domain your project helps. There is no “Generative AI track” or “Machine Learning track” — pick a real-world area and use AI where it helps.
Learning, study, research, or campus life — tools that help students or faculty.
Access, awareness, or wellness workflows — always responsible, never diagnostic claims.
Personal or team workflows that save time, reduce friction, or improve decisions.
Literature, data exploration, synthesis, or tools that accelerate inquiry.
Clubs, local impact, civic life, or social good — tools that serve real people.
Where this fits
The Builder Challenge is step two — optional, free, and open to everyone. Go as far as you want: participate, share your build, join the cohort, or keep exploring.
